Online Banking – Frequently Asked Questions

How much does MBC Direct Online Banking cost?

MBC Direct Online Banking is FREE to Milton Bank customers.

How can I sign-up for MBC Direct Online Banking?

You can sign-up for MBC Direct Online Banking by visiting any of our branch locations or start the application process by printing out our application online. For your security and protection, your MBC Direct account cannot be activated until we receive your completed and signed application. The completed application can be dropped off at a Milton Bank office location. Once we have received your MBC Direct Online Banking / Bill Pay Application, we will assign you an MBC Direct User ID and temporary Password. The first time that you sign on to MBC Direct, you will be required to change the temporary Password to a new Password of your choice. Please keep your MBC Direct User ID and Password strictly confidential.

How current is the information on MBC Direct Online Banking?

Information in MBC Direct is current as of the close of the previous business day. However, if you make a transaction with a Milton Bank teller, Millie “The 24 Hour Teller” or through MBC Direct Online Banking during the current business day and then view your account online, you will see the transaction on your account. There may be delays from time to time because of processing or normal system updates which we cannot control.

Can I stop or modify my request to transfer funds?

After you have completed a funds transfer transaction and have received a confirmation number, you may edit or cancel the existing transfer as long as the funds are available.

What if all my accounts do not appear on my account list?

We only set up Milton Bank accounts on MBC Direct that were listed on your signed application. You must also be a sole or joint owner or a signer on an account to have it added to MBC Direct. If you have an account that you would like added to MBC Direct, please contact a Milton Bank office.

How can I delete an account from MBC Direct Online Banking?

Please contact a Milton Bank office for assistance if there are accounts that you do not want to view or access through MBC Direct Online Banking.

How many of my account statements can I review online?

You will be able to access and print up to 12 months of your most recent account statements for checking and savings accounts only.

How much account history can I see online?

You can review at least 60 days of transaction history on your checking account(s) and 90 days of transaction history on your savings account(s).

Are there excessive withdrawal limits when transferring from my Money Market or Savings account(s)?

Yes, federal regulations prohibit making more than six pre-authorized, automatic, or telephonic transfers or withdrawals per statement period, of which no more than three can be to third parties. These regulations govern transactions using MBC Direct Online Banking and Bill Pay and apply to Milton Bank Statement Savings and Money Market accounts. However, transferring from one of these accounts to make a loan payment at Milton Bank does not count towards the excessive withdrawal limit.

What if I lose or forget my MBC Direct User ID or Password?

If you lose or forget your MBC Direct User ID and/or Password, please contact a Milton Bank office for assistance.
